THE AMERICAN HERITAGE 7-STEP PROCESS
- Preliminary
We meet with you, inspect the property, discuss your goals and preferences, and review the market and time frames.
- Planning
We meet again to present a proposal and to reach agreement on an approach, time table, minimum sale prices, and other important points.
- Advertising
We develop and implement a complete advertising campaign, which may include brochures, newspaper, radio, Internet, and signage.
- Generating Interest
We contact developers, purchasers, nearby owners, and other potentially interested parties.
- Buyer Inspections
We conduct prearranged inspection tours. Even with an auction or public sale, tours are important. Bidding is more enthusiastic when buyers are familiar with the property.
- Buyer’s Agreement
Whether we’ve gaveled down an auction sale or found a buyer through a standard sale, there’s still much to do:
- We make sure essential contracts are signed.
- We collect the buyer’s deposits and place them in escrow.
- We make arrangements for final settlement.
- Settlement
We assist you in preparing the property and necessary documents for delivery to the buyer. We attend settlement with you to make sure you receive the proceeds to which you are duly entitled.
